Packet Academy
Professional training and certification across AI, IT and cyber security — for employers, institutions and individual practitioners.
Four training disciplines
Delivered by the company’s own engineers and auditors, drawing on live infrastructure and current engagement experience.
Artificial intelligence
Applied AI for technical practitioners, covering practical large language model use, private deployment, document intelligence, computer vision and the governance framework these systems require.
IT and infrastructure
Linux and server administration, cloud fundamentals, networking, virtualisation and the operational practices required to sustain production environments.
Cyber security and GRC
Security fundamentals, ISO/IEC 27001 awareness and internal auditor training, risk assessment and secure operations, delivered by practising auditors.
Certification preparation
Structured preparation for recognised industry certifications, with examination outcomes as the defined objective.
Three routes to enrolment
Training is funded through different mechanisms depending on the participant. Each pathway carries its own eligibility requirements.
HRD Corp levy
Malaysian employers contributing to the Human Resources Development Corporation levy may claim approved training for their employees, typically under the SBL-Khas scheme. This requires registration as a Training Provider and separate approval of each programme.
In progress
Registration under the PSMB Act 2001 is in progress. Programmes are confirmed as claimable once approval is granted.
Institutional programmes
The HRD Corp levy is contributed by employers and does not extend to students. University students, fresh graduates and career changers are supported through institutional programmes, agency-funded initiatives, university partnerships and sponsored places.
Cohort partnerships with universities, polytechnics and student bodies are available on enquiry.
Self-funded enrolment
Working professionals enrolling individually on scheduled public course dates, with certification preparation where a formal qualification is the objective. Priced for individual enrolment.
Taught by practitioners
Delivered on live infrastructure. Laboratory environments run on Packet Cloud Services compute capacity.
Led by practising auditors. Information security and ISO 27001 programmes are delivered by the practitioners conducting client engagements.
Informed by current work. AI content reflects PacketX, document-intelligence and OmniScribe deployments and the industrial systems delivered by PacketDCS.
Available in-house. Programmes are delivered at client premises or company facilities, scoped to an identified capability requirement.
Discuss a training programme
